تعتبر مدرسة الفلاح من أوائل المدارس النظامية في الجزيرة العربية، وهي الركيزة الأساسية التي استند عليها في رسم خارطة التعليم في المملكة العربية السعودية حيث تأسست مدرسة الفلاح عام 1323ه/1905م وقد جمعت هذه المدرسة بين تعلم علوم الدين وتعلم العلوم الحديثة، وقد حرصت أن تكون لأهالي مدينتي مكة المكرمة وجدة، ومنْ ولدوا فيها، وألّا يُصرف مال مدارس الفلاح إلا في التعليم، كما تميزت بمجانية التعليم، وتخصيص مكافأة شهرية لأهالي الطلاب لكي تضمن التفرغ للدراسة. This school has combined learning religious sciences and learning modern sciences, and it was keen that this school be for the people of Mecca and Jeddah and those born in it, not to spend the money of Al-Falah schools except in education and this school was free of education, and the school was allocated a monthly reward to the people of Students in order to ensure full-time study.
